What's the perfect dessert to serve at a pizza party? More pizza! This homemade dessert pizza is topped with fresh, tart berries, whipped topping, and a sweet strawberry icing. It comes together in less than an hour, thanks to the no-rise crust, and it's sure to delight all of your party guests.

To make this dessert pizza, you'll need:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced thinly
  • 1 8-ounce container of whipped topping, thawed
  • ¼ cup chocolate syrup, optional
  • An additional ½ cup sliced, fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 ounces cream cheese

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, white sugar flour and vanilla. Mix with a fork until the mixture forms coarse crumbs. Then, pour the mixture onto a metal pizza pan, and pat it together, forming a 12-inch circle. Do not worry if the circle is not perfectly uniform – it will spread out slightly and appear more even after it bakes.

Place the crust in a 375 F oven, and bake for 15 – 20 minutes, or until it just begins to turn golden brown. Remove the crust from the oven, and allow it to cool completely.

While the crust is cooling, combine the chocolate syrup and whipped topping in a mixing bowl. Stir until well combined. (If you do not like chocolate, you can skip this step and just use plain whipped topping on the pizza.)

When the crust is cool, spread it with the whipped topping mixture. Then, sprinkle of 1 cup on sliced strawberries, ½ cup fresh blueberries, and ½ cup fresh raspberries, making sure to distribute them evenly across the crust.

In a food processor, combine the remaining ½ cup strawberries with the powdered sugar, milk and cream cheese. Process until smooth. There should be no remaining chunks of berries – just a creamy, smooth, pink icing.

Drizzle the pink icing over the pizza, and then place it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes. This will allow the icing to set slightly. Slice it into wedges, and serve. The leftovers can be kept covered in the refrigerator for up to three days.

If you cannot find fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries for this recipe, feel free to use any other combination of berries you choose.
